MAD2 / Vensters
MAD2 stands for “Making a decision to make a difference.” All the activities are done in conjunction with Maties Community Service and also for the new-comers/ first years to adjust to their new and exciting university life ahead. This period in the beginning of the year only lasts for roughly 10 days, but I promise you, this is 10 days you will never forget.
Vensters is the biggest event of the year and brings the conclusion of the welcoming period. This year’s theme is “Connect Us”. Vensters affords the new-comers/ first years with the opportunity to dance, act and feel like Beyoncé. Although it takes a lot of time and effort, there is no better feeling on the night of Vensters when everything comes together. Vensters allows you to make tons of new friends, dress up, dance around and have so much fun! Ultimately, Vensters is done in the name of Maties Community Service. The main purpose of Vensters is connecting with the community and helping where needed. All the funds accumulated through this event goes to the less fortunate. Minerva and Simonsberg look forward to “Bringing Connecting Back to Basics” and making their difference within the community.
