As 'n inwoner van Minerva verbind ek my tot die behoud van universele waardes, die onderwerping aan alle landswette, universiteits- en koshuisreëls en 'n PASSIEVOLLE STREWE na:

As resident of Minerva, I commit myself
to upholding the university values, obeying the laws of the country and the rules of the university and residence, and passionately striving towards:

and the arts
- balance, consistency, stability, responsibility, commitment to traditions and the pursuit of (healthy) fun
- tolerance, mutual respect, empathy, fairness, consideration for others and support
for my peers at all times
- academic and non-academic excellence, hospitality, co-operation and the creation of a positive study environment.
Furthermore, as resident of Minerva, I commit myself completely to the motto of the University of Stellenbosch, namely “The right education strengthens the

Sections / Seksies
Since Minerva is proud to be known as the Greek goddess of campus, it’s fitting that our 13 section names are the Greek Alphabet, from one to thirteen.
Throughout the year a number of events, like Master chef, Tour de Olympus and Amazing race take place. At these events sections compete against each other in some friendly games, and this creates some great Minerva gees.
